No he isn’t spear has more reach so a spear user and a sword user of equal in all things from height, weight, experience, skill in respective weapon, etc the spear user would likely win due to reach, if we are taking any sword length but great sword length.

Yes but Ddraig and Albion could take over in his sleep, as stated above if a telepathy has to deal with all three then all three could contribute to a overall defence with MC’s mind being to only entry point (that I can tell by reading could be wrong) the three of them could join together to make the strongest possible defence that they can take turns in maintaining while the others can’t.

Personally I was fine with the last chapter if there was an explanation more than weaker magic like even though he explored the forbidden forest it was only in centaur territory so there were no dangerous creatures so no combat experience or some other reason that made sense and then a way for him to improve.
