If you want a no nonsense sci-fi dystopia, this is your book. The author doesn't waste your time and drops you straight into the action. There's a lot of interesting stuff right off the bat, especially the world. It's a typical futuristic apocalypse, but there is nothing wrong with that. MC is not superpowered, yet, at least, though he does seem to be set up to become pretty darn scary later. He is a normal guy with a well-thought out background, someone that I don't mind rooting for. Also, don't be quick to attach to any characters, because so far, people don't tend to stay around for very long. There's a lot of tension in the world, but that's what keeps it exciting! Keep reading, and the author will keep writing. I'm excited to see the story develop!
