I was thinking that same thing, it seems as if his radiation naturally evolves things into qi dense versions of themselves, so every apocalypse world is effectively a cultivation haven, his want to not be in an apocalypse world mixed with him having the ring kinda turns him into an automated (if slow) cultivation haven generator.

not quite, if it takes you a week to learn a technique (rather short time for a xinxia technique) then your looking at 200 years just to learn how to input all 10000 possibilities, and that assumes that a "no name ring" doesn't have a custom technique
