Sheesh about damn time....

I stopped reading this novel for awhile and while I do enjoy this novel. These last few chapters reminded me why I stopped reading. The MC can be very annoying sometimes. I don't get why he hasn't looked at the store before, because I'm sure there are other ability he could buy. Why not go out and build his strength fighting? This guy just seems stuck in the mud instead of getting stronger, and I really don't get why he hasn't looked up the other void user yet, scary or not. Some of the things that's seems to be holding him back is his own doing. Who doesn't experiment with what this system can or can't do for them as they are growing? This guy just seems way to scared to even experiment. What's the point of int and wis stats if you cripple yourself by not using the things you have to the fullest ability, case in point sitting on all these resources and doing absolutely nothing with it besides feeding his dragons. Which oh by the way can't be used in battle at this time. Just frustrating to read.

So has he completely decided not to fullifill the deal he had with the potion master. Seems a little ungrateful to me.

nope no problem, I just put the book down for a bit the MC was starting to get a bit much for me.

I've started the book, so far it's been enjoyable, but I'm only 27 chapters in.

Let me start by saying I don't like giving bad reviews for peoples work due to it takes alot of courage to put material out for others to read and criticize, but after reading a few reviews before starting this book. I thought it would be a disservice to not write this. So after reading 30+ pages or so, so far I feel it doesn't quite lived up to the hype of the reviews i've read before starting this book. Most annoying is how the book is trying to build mystery and intrigue on the MC (as well as trying to make us see how intelligent she is.) on making 1 of the 3 people she has to choose to be king. I feel like there's information missing on quite a bit of things at the start and are backed filled later. prime ex. of the first thing that annoyed me. she gave the archmage some items to make a few things for her but zero details as to what she asked him to make until after he brought the items back to her. where's the harm in letting the reader know up front. The items weren't anything earth shattering that it needed to be a secret from the reader. There were a few other things that lead to the same thing as my example. Now there has been a time skip and we're introducted to people (looking at you pirate captain turned doctor) who i assume are going to help her accomplish the things she's there to do with nothing given as to how she met him. Just a back fill 2 sentence that could be missed if you're just skimming through the chapter about how she helped him. Unfortunately due to alot of these things occurring so far I don't find myself invested in this MC, the story, or any of the characters thus far. The story feels thrown together like most other stories of this nature I've read. So in conclusion the intrigue that is being built isnt making me want to see what happens next. The way I'm being led to think this MC is intelligent and using her knowledge from her previous life isn't really grabbing me. The time skip hasn't helped the story mostly leaving me lost as to who these new characters are and how do they play a part in what's she's there to do.I will continue to a little more to see if it all comes together, but im not holding my breath that it will.

well it looks like this novel isn't going to continue. I do hate starting something and not being able to finish it. I hope your novel isn't like this one...

sigh I guess this n9vel is done sad....

this feels like he's becoming the very person of the things that happened to him, nice cycle we are making.
