I just want to point out that a patent is for inventions not literature. You’d want to get copyright if you wrote a book or song or made a movie.

For starters author confirmed it a while ago he did say he got inspired from an mtl tho, also I read all the scp MTLs (especially the ones in marvel) non had the same storyline. Also even if the author is lying the plot line and writing aren’t Mtl style (don’t know why u feel that way) which means author changed the writing so much which lets be honest for MTL standards this makes it an original.
