fairy tail world with Irene Belserion as the fl and the Erza's father 400 years in dragonov .protagonist who only has affinity towards darkness magic (Imu's devil fruit abilities,no dragon slayer magic) but instead of the weakness of seawater like normal devil fruits the usage of his magic causes him to go hollow from constant usage and normally his emotions extremely dulled so to others he apears extremely ereeie yet he could have a personality similar to yoriichi tsugikuni from demon slayer strong and silent yet noble and kind despite his condition, so to combat without relying on his magic too heavily the MC learns to fight with mutiple weapons (his combat style can be like goblin slayer, which is slow, methodical, ruthless but instead of goblins it's towards dragons) and his title can be like "venator draconum" which means dragon hunter or "Draco Interfectorem" which means dragon slayer.

As an opinion on content you could add spacial rifts which could open in high magic zones which could be like portals similar or different dimensions with time dilution so you could add more arcs in the story without messing with the timeline or make it so that the spacial rifts become like a Blindspot in lucious's foresight. My advice for romance make it a slow burn romance because despite the anime showing her to be fiery and a battle junkie, she is incredibly intelligent so slow burn from strangers to trusted allies to close friends to lovers , but make sure the transition from strangers to close friends is seamless through adversity which could be through those spacial rifts I mentioned earlier some other way and then from close friends to lovers is like a quiet realization for both of them not like the suspense in regular romance as the character meroleona is bold, strong, and fiery yet intelligent beyond what most give her credit for but this is just my opinion and this is your fanfic which is based on your views on the characters so it is up to you how the story goes good luck 👍 PS update soon it's really good gem of a story.
