I want you to look up the word greed and tell me what the first definition that pops up is then get back to me. I really don’t understand what is unclear about the fact that there is more than one definition to the word greed. My statement is incredibly clear so I don’t really understand what your confused about. I recognize that the Bible has a definition for greed. I am not arguing with you on that. The fact of the matter is that the common definition of greed and the Bible definition are different and the author most likely intends to use the common definition. I understand your point of view. The reality is, this is a book that has the word greed in the title with no inclinations toward being in any way related to the sin of greed. If you have the basic ability to use context clues you can figure out the definition of greed the author intends on using by reading the synopsis. Idk if this is a problem with your reading comprehension ability or if your just to horny to use your frontal lobe but I recommend working on it bud.

Again, what are you talking about, I have read the Bible, I know what is in the Bible. You brought the Bible up, I said that it is stupid to use an operational definition that doesn’t apply to this situation. I don’t really understand what you find unclear about this. The Bible exists as a completely separate entity from this book. It has its own definitions for words that differ from the colloquial use of them. The author pretty clearly intends to use the colloquial definition yet you seem to think that the only definition of greed is the one from the Bible. If you are aware that the common definition of the word is different from the one in the Bible then you are just arguing for the sake of arguing becuase at that point it is incredibly clear that your original point is stupid.
