To be frank, I don’t really know my fellow enjoyer. If I was speculating I would assume the end goal of the novel is to finish a story with the biggest territory historically possible as British empire managed to achieve in real history through colonialism and conquest. Another guess is that it’s just a poisonous fruit of a well known Chinese love for clickbait titles. Most likely the truth lies somewhere in between.

The best alternative history novel (eu4 fanfic) so far in my 10+ years consuming this type of literature experience in various languages. From all of the epistolary diarrhea chinese authors usually produce en masse this is a hidden gem I was looking for a decade. The author operates with the same logic of the game and real world history combined so every single detail even casually mentioned affects the story. Historical research level behind those chapters is immaculate: social relationships and events presented at that period which utilised by the author significantly surpass the abundant information provided by the game. To be concluded I finally found my holy grail which I hope will last long enough to enjoy it. The only problem is translator’s laziness which I hope will be cured by my prayers.
