His memories of the DBZ cast and beyond as well have been taken away. That isn't to say that he doesn't know anything else. It means that he can't properly prepare for the future events without having to suffer the same trials as Goku and the rest. Also his powers are similar to a character from DC, not Superman.

Celestials wouldn't be considered fake gods in this case since they can make and destroy worlds. Plus, this is an original universe so the Celestials are part of the hierarchy.

Yeah, I was hoping that someone would notice it. I try not to let people know what he is actually planning to do. Right now this is a Cul who has yet to be ruthless. So think of him like Loki without the killing. That said, in the near future that will change drastically.
