Coming back to this book I feel like this is foreshadowing on how Rassa will become a leader

Rassa was a little kid when he received his powers so of course he is going to be niave. Another thing to consider is that when Rassa received his powers it was extremely painful so evrn if he was an adult he was going to be scared because he has the potential to hurt himself and others. Also if one day you got lost got seriously injured and then woke up with strange powers you'd be afraid as well.

A true diamond in the rough, the story really had me invested. I really enjoyed the business Rassa had created, most stories would end with the characters facing off with a final boss so the business was unexpected and extremely entertaining. Overall A+ writing.
