The sun rays pokes Dennis at the gaps at the edge of his closed eye through the window of his room. The neighbors rooster flies and perches on their fence and crows so loud it could be heard miles away. As usual it was time for school and as always Dennis finds it difficult to get out of bed.He turned to the other side of the bed to avoid the further penetration of the sun rays into his eyes. His mom who responds to the name Mina,a woman of a perfect body ,with standing bossom and an understandable tender beauty enters her son's room with a smile that could melt everyman's heart.Mina walks to her nine year old son's bed and removes the blanket off his tiny body. She began tapping Dennis on the leg."Wake up my darling boy it's time for school".Dennis replied in a reluctant tone"mom I wanna sleep some more". She kisses Dennis on the forehead and says"don't be a naughty boy and it also seems like you've forgotten ; tomorrow's a Saturday"She pauses and continues"You can have tomorrow all for yourself".He sits upright on the bed and turned to look at his moms face"ohk mom". Dennis gets down from the bed still looking drowsy and heads for the washroom. He tripped over but was able to gain balance. Mina who was worried about her son commented"hey, watch your steps or you might get hurt". "Mom I'm ohk"replied Dennis.He opened the door and walks for the room on his left.Dennis pushes the door open,enters and closes the door behind him. He tries to take his brush from the brush rack but it falls on the moist tiled floor. Dennis didn't bother to take it since he found it gross. He decided to skip cleaning his teeth that day .He walked to the bathtub which was hidden behind a transparent silk curtains. He turns on the shower and the water droplets felt cold.a breezy feeling then crept over his body giving him goosebumps"omg this water is weigh freezing" ,he twitched to the warm side so that the water becomes ohk to use"that's better"he said. Dennis finished bathing and wiped his wet body with a towel .After bathing he goes back to his room to put some clothes on. Dennis walks towards his closet which was three hundred centimeters away from his bed. Today was Friday,one of his best days in the week so he decides to wear his favorite clothes.After dressing he stands infront of his bedroom mirror, Dennis thought"This clothes always look good on me, can't wait to show it to mom". Dennis got out of his room and descends the stairs leading to the dinning room. As soon as Mina saw her son,you could notice the proud motherly stare all over her face."Wow, my son is looking handsome today". Dennis smiles in return. Dennis inquired"what's for breakfast today?"Mina answered"Your favorite"Dennis smiled more upon hearing his mom's statement .He sat on one of the chairs .Mina entered the kitchen and filled her son's bowl with the food she prepared,she goes back to the dinning room and serves Dennis. She stairs Dennis's black curly hair with her hand "Eat everything up".I wish dad was here,I wonder when he'll be back"said Dennis . Mina kept mute and a sad expression developed on her face. Dennis was enjoying the breakfast but noticed his mom was quiet. Dennis spreads out his arms and reaches him mom for a hug. She kisses him on the forehead and Dennis questioned his mom that what was wrong with her sudden change in mood. Mina replied"Oh nothing,I just miss him too". "He'll be back" wisphered Dennis .Upon hearing her son's words tears runner down her cheeks. They are both interrupted by the blowing horns of Dennis's school bus. Mina wipes the tears off her eyes."Your bus is here take your bag and leave,I love β€οΈ you son ". "I love you too mom"replied Dennis.
