Exactly. It could be a ploy, and I agree, in the wrong hands, he could be very dangerous. However, she is not only part dragon, she has her wolf, which in a way is a seperate entity (compared to the dragons) and also seems to be helping her. I think her mother's lineage will somehow come out to play in all this too.
