Our protagonist is not reborn as a human, however, but rather as a goblin shaman, a being that is often discriminated against and looked down upon. Despite these challenges, our hero remains determined to overcome the odds and become a respected and revered magus. It isn't the consumption of blood crystals that increased his bloodline purity, but rather, the fact that he would have gotten [Blood Physique] perk. However, this perk was incompatible and absorbed by his bloodline. The result was an increase of bloodline purity. However, it was a one-time-thing.

It isn't oppressing, but more about controlling. Magus Families often see promising youths going over other powers for the sake of benefits. By exiling Drake, the family keeps tabs on their youngest

He did not have high status in his family, though. His parents had betrayed the family decades ago to save his life. I wasn't planning for the MC to use necromancy spell. Anyway, as a shadow-element acolyte, I don't think it would suit him well. However, I thought that it was more realistic for him to find 'unsuitable' loot. In the future, he might trade it for something more suitable though...Who knows? :D

You can think of it as a story similar to Age of Adepts, the Wizarding World, or the infamous Warlock of the Magus World. The main protagonist falls into this world of magic. Armed with nothing but a biochip, he shall overcomes all odds and become a magus for the sake of completing his dreams of strength, immortality and wealth. The protagonist will be slightly evil and pragmatic. Still, he will have values and will not kill innocents for pleasure. Please give me your power stones :)
