Her eyes widened; the captain smiled at her sight. “Seeing how you are so eager to get out, you must be Asterin. Am I right?” she did not dare utter a single word. Monika tried to stand up but the men rushed to her and took her back. The captain came down using the stairs and this time the girls themselves were too shocked to protect her. He cleared his path towards Asterin as he moved gracefully in the middle of the crowd.

I always hated being the center of attention....good luck girl
One more time she tried moving towards the back and was relieved when no one blocked her way. But while making sure not to make a sound with her feet, she lost her balance and the book in her hands fell on the ground. Suddenly every head turned in her direction, making her the target to every gaze.

A frown formed on the captain’s face. “You are to obey the king’s orders, otherwise we have no choice but to take you to court with her. Then you will also be regarded as a traitor to the crown, is that what you want?” Monika laughed at his words while covering her mouth, she almost went into a full bow from the laugh’s impact. Asterin was frozen in her place. She did not understand what this could possibly mean.

so far I have enjoyed this actually it seems quite nice, I added it to my library a few days ago and forgot to read it but today I thought it's finally time to read. i enjoyed it a lot, there is so much tention in this book, so so much tention. though it was listed as romance for now I have not seen that much of a romance but im sure there will be more cause I can already see a base of it.
