You're right about everything, yes, but at this point what was the point of his migration if it follows history so much? Yes, he brought innovations and everything, and he will certainly do better than the original Basileus, but in the end, what's the difference?

Okay, so be it, but he didn't want to go into politics and now he's going in on someone's advice. What's more, he was advised to become a general in the Roman armies. All this just for what? To be the emperor's hunting dog. He was forced into marriage, but he didn't do anything just because it was an order. It seems like the only thing Basileus does in the final days of the FF is let himself be led left and right. I'm not saying the FF is bad or anything, in fact, I like it, but it's like saying MC has become passive, in the sense that he no longer makes his own decisions but is led by others.
To be honest, I don't like the way things are going anymore. Ultimately, Basileus is simply allowing himself to be manipulated into doing things he doesn't want to do.
