Time seemed to have slowed down for everyone as they weren't able to tear their eyes off the spectacle that was about to happen. As soon as the missile touched Spider-Man's extended finger a black magic circle appeared between the point. The missile pulsed expanding, exploding releasing a huge blast of wind that created a shockwave but none of that fire or heat expanded outwards as Spider-Man shrinked it. The speed at which read nowadays was something that he could only do because of his training in the arts of Chi, or rather Ki, as Nathan referred to it.
