Just because there are a bunch of sects of power doesn't mean they use both sides of power. There are no Grey Jedi in fact, these are the Jedi who have come very close to the edge of the dark side, but they are still on the light side. The Green Jedi are not an indicator at all, they are just an autonomous enclave of Jedi that is loyal not to the Republic, but specifically to Karelia. They are no different from the Jedi in any way.
