Oh! No... it's interesting..read further you will understand. The first two chapters are not confusing. Yet characters are in confusion. Because vathi has exams..they got a crisp idea from her.. After they start reading Vathi's book they all will get clarity. Even we as readers... As you said there is a zig-zag but the main base of the story is how Vathi. Will fill also zig-zag with help of others. I understood everything to the point...

I liked the plot. It is simple but with interesting concepts like hacking death mystery, suspense, and a love triangle. Congrats on receiving promising work for WSA week 6. I'll add it to the library... Further, the base is strong where there is confusion about who hacked Vathi's laptop Shenoy, Karen, or Vinay? The hint questions are going to be twisted in further story development as I guess. Every character had no clarity of what happened in Vathi's life until she narrated and wrote a book after the completion of her exams. From chapter 3 we will start getting clarity but with good twists. Even there is a lot of Indian cultures but there are effects of British, Portuguese culture too because of names of people and places referred to. These kinds of books are rare to find here.
