i do apologize about my grammar. the system doesn't chose everyone as host, only 20-30 % of the whole population get to become host , and its at random , or if certain requirements are met. the rest acquire powers if the host decide to share the skills they learned, or by finding inheritances of other powerful beings in the wild. although being a host of the system allows you to absorb energy from monster cores witch make training easy and faster , but if the host of the system focuses on how the system is doing the procedure , they may have an incite or epiphany, and figure out some ways to willingly absorb the spiritual energy in the cores without the systems assistance , there go being able to pass the method and helping the others.
