What's the drawback of this one? I feel like the pain thing is more of a condition, which was the requirement for the celestial thing. IMO, a drawback would be something like +200% damage and -50% Defense or something.

This is just common sense, not "inside knowledge". Him having and making a bunch of skills, and also knowing the quest trigger, are both reasons for suspicion. Knowing that, if you move, it's harder for things to hit you, is not suspicious.

Maybe it means that he's good enough to break high or maybe master level occlumensy, but the only level he can break instantly and/or effortlessly is low level? idk
