Looking right into my eyes, the boy smiled, "I fell for you because you have my mother's eyes. So pretty. Give them to me, Zion. I feel awful. Make me feel better."Ā
"I can't talk to them exactly. I just know that they are there, that they exist and can hear my thoughts." I said, shrugging as I adjusted the cloth covering my mouth, hiding the scars that ran up from my lips to the lower corners of my eyes. "I do not know who they are though."
"I don't know," Jel said, finally gaining back some of his strength, enough for his body to stop bleeding as he pushed the man away from him. "Maybe I thought he was cute? I don't understand either."
I really like the characters and rich background offered in this book here. from the setting to the personalities, you can tell that the author put in a lot of work on them. Good job author!
Slumping to the side of the chair, he tilted his head to the black-haired man's direction, who is completely engrossed in his phone. "You are certainly invested in that thing, aren't you? For the past two days too. Who would have thought that Mr. Serious would be so invested in a romance game?"
"Oh, did you know that he was pregnant?" He asked, as the man's eyes widened. Elise walked to Noa and cut open his stomach, pulling out something thick, clumpy and bloody as Eclipse could only look at him with horror written all over his face. "Ugly little thing. Wouldn't you say so?"
Very interesting background of characters and a very, very interesting plotline. I really cannot wait to see where else this will go. Good job, author!
