That’s an insane jump to make. Killing thousands of innocents is not remotely the same as killing a mass murderer. It’s not like they are government agents, so they have no reason to let legal procedure interfere with personal justice. If fact most major governments have kill on sight orders for terrorist leaders. No killing policies work in scenarios like Batman because Bruce Wayne is mentally troubled enough with paranoia and his cynical view of the world to the extent he genuinely believes that he will not be able to stop himself if he starts seeing killing as an option for every problem. For mentally stable heros(which I hope these girls are)killing is perfectly fine because they can draw a line themselves to stop. It might be traumatic for them, but completely morally correct against a mass murderer. Most fantasy/hero media being partially child focused only pushes the often illogical no killing policies(as who wants to let their kids read a story about someone who goes around killing people).
Good old Pokémon tactics
I’m nearly 400 chapter in and it’s getting very hard to route for anyone. Asher is a completely irredeemable monster who has no reason to sympathize with him, you can’t even pretend like he is having a difficult time because he is easily solving all issues that come at him. Asher hardly even feels like a character, I understand he is supposed to not be able to feel positive emotions, but even when he is supposedly angry his psyche is completely unaffected a couple paragraphs later. The side characters are written well(except anyone powerful in the slightest) but it’s hard to stay interested in a story with such a bad MC. If we even had someone to route for against Asher it would be fine, but all powers are evil in some way and Asher, the supposed villain, doesn’t even seem like a change from them.
Hospitals would accept them if they were deemed to be in critical condition and needed to be monitored for their safety(treatment besides just hooking up an IV). They definetly would not be in this situation and would likely have the same procedures as someone declared brain dead in a reality.
