These lines are wrong. It was stated female foxes are proud of having many who like them because it's a sign of charm, and it's also common for male foxes to have many partners and whatnot because their population is so low, so it doesn't make sense for these 2 to say these things, or react like this.
Yeah, there was this zebra fox in the doppelganger game who already won 10 games, but somehow was stuck with his basic light/shadow divine abilities. You're likely correct, and every treasure comes with a chance of awakening the purity of the fox's bloodline; meanwhile TLX has the system which does all the heavy lifting, like when she evolved into sun and moon fox. It was explained the system only cares about getting the best results, and would be very hard to get her evolution by natural ways. I agree Tu Shan judging TLX as mediocre is harsh considering what she achieved, but goes to show how seriously they take their philosophies; like, this whole festival is for "cubs" after all, so judging based on character is more important than judging based on feats.
No, it's because Qing Qiu cares about having a bunch of powerful divine abilities, and Tu Shan cares about the actual skills of the fox. See Mei Lan, she wouldn't get accepted in Qing Qiu, no matter how strong, and skilled she is, because she isn't a fox with strong bloodline, and abilities.
Qing Qiu should provide the high level resources she asks for, or a set income she can use to purchase whatever she sees fit; the judgement would later come from based on her progress, which we know will be stellar (ba dum tsss), so won't be an issue. Although competition is inevitable, it shouldn't be on the level of halting the progress of a complete newbie they DO want to nurture; it would be like in the Festival, in which TLX veeery quickly levelled up, combined, and mastered her skills, so again, no issue. The only reasonable problem would be her being confined in X place like a princess, as royal members of this tribe don't seem to have much freedom, but they only saw her 'potential' in skills, not actual Regalia, or royal bloodline, so at the beginning she would have more freedom in exchange of lesser resources; she doesn't need too much right now, relatively speaking, so even these lesser resources should suffice (she doesn't need mythical items to evolve yet). Overall I think this is the perfect deal for her.
Ideal because proven by this evolution's requirements, they're reaaaally costly, and any progress will only get much harder in the future
Sun, and Star fox likely don't exist; it was a weird phenomenon, but assuming "ok, little xue is a sun and moon fox now, and she'll evolve into a star fox hybrid now". Like, you gotta imagine the standard of how every creature evolves in this story; they mostly follow a straight path related to a single concept.
We meet more important characters; it's a pity half the chapter was spent with Bing, and Hei. It is also amazing how godadi manages to deny us the evolution; at this rate TLX will evolve around the middle/ending of this next arc, which will likely be chapter 800 , hopefully before chapter 900. I have already forgotten what old martial art scroll TLX got from the Inheritance Tablet; iirc it was more valuable than the Ying Yang Formula (?), anyway, give us the Ying Yang already!
The way godadi described it made it reminiscent of the countless species in our current emmm zoology? There are 5 general ways to group vertebrate animals: Fish, Bird, Mammal, Amphibian, and Reptile. With a bit of mental gymnastics, it is safe to assume each tribe categorizes in deeper detail those others which are closer to them, and just give a general description of those who are more foreign to them. For example: You can say someone away from you is from X country like Canada, but only those natives from said country would bother specifying things like "I'm from Monteal" to a fellow Canadian. Just like that, these characters would say things like "You're from the beast tribe of the land/water", but only a fellow beast who dwells on the land would specify "Actually, I'm from the Fox/Cat/Tiger tribe". I'm sure not even Mei Lan knows every single beast tribe who lives underwater, and has only studied about them because she wants to travel to the Central Continent.
She should have all her stats maxed out, plus enough coins to do whatever she wants now. Doubtful if she could max out her level up to 40 as well, but with her lucky sticker who knows, and at least she can finally use the Yin Yang Formula. Another issue is she likely won't have enough Spirit Stones to support her evolution with how taxing it promises to be, with her Regalia evolving alongside her, and stuff.
No, dude, no, no no. You can't be using THIS trope. I refuse!
It's extrasensory; the author just makes mistakes sometimes
