I think most perceptive people are noticing the robotic writing that these recent Webnovel fanfictions have. This chapter was ripe with redundant word play and descriptions. It SCREAMS robot writing. It sometimes works when the author plans on explaining the course of events, but it gets redundant when used all the time. These fanfiction Webnovel authors are getting lazy. They have the energy to make a story, but not to write it with their own words.
Brontes only had an edge over Sakazuki when they fought for the first time. He was never Sakazuki's absolute superior. When they reach their prime, I believe Brontes would be superior when it comes to his devil fruit abilities, but their base stats would be relatively even.
In all honesty. I would prefer it if Freyja eventually killed the protagonist. By the time he reaches the precipice of power, it'd be fine if he was somehow killed. I find this story entertaining because it's a very exotic concept. Building a crew of people that utterly want him dead, interesting.
His mother is the one I am the most curious about. Typically, only our protagonist stands out in his or her family, at least from my experiences in reading fiction. But, it seems that his mother is also a special existence. But it's still early on in the story, I wonder how great his mother is in the grand scheme of things. Adrian claims that none can match him in knowledge, which means that his mother doesn't rival him in the ability to acquire knowledge. How great is she? Is she a demon, too?
Killing your opponent is one of the ways to END the match. Forcing them to either yield or forcing the proctor to intervene is another. Aokiji chose to KILL, but Hiruzen didn't want his student killed so he had the proctor step in right before it happened. And the Mist benefits from not having too many ENEMY powerhouses killing their forces. The Legendary Sannin were literally enemies with the Mist and slaughtered many of their forces. If they die in this exam, they will be a future threat to the Mist no longer. Aokiji possesses a firm will to defend and change his village for the better, he holds a great sense a nationalism. But the Leaf Village may drop all of their hostility unto the Mist if Aokiji does kill Hiruzen's students, so that could be a repercussion that the Mist may suffer if they aren't yet strong enough to combat the Leaf.
As stated above, Aokiji places far more value on his HOMELAND than any other village or foreign character. He stated that if he was a Konoha resident, than he would hope to become friends with the future Sannin. But he's a Mist resident and decided to become their enemy instead. Pretty realistic mentality, honestly. Nationalism is a thing, a you know?
Um... who wouldn't feel a grievance with someone that instilled negative feelings within their loved one? Even if it's natural since they are from opposing villages. But from what I've seen so far... I can definitely see the Leaf and Mist becoming enemies, especially with what Danzo pulled with Mei Kaguya. And our MC's mindset for enemy villages, he is extremely loyal to his birthplace, and would cut down enemies from a foreign village to protect it, even if it is the most important foreign village in canon.
Since he has a decent mastery over Armament Haki and Conquerors, his strength is easily above a most New World pirates below 500 Million Beri. So... he's on an even playing field with very powerful Vice Admiral at the very least or Yonko Commander.
