This is so out of character for Becca she only wants to live a safe life with Ryan but I guess you do have to drive the plot forward
Becca puts her hand around his arm "Billy.... please... We can't let him win like this... You can't look at me in the eyes... and tell me you gave up on searching for me to target Homelander and then tell me you are giving up on the world to make me and Ryan safe. Billy... this man... he is... he needs to end... and all he's built too." She said, almost crying.
