Nah Stein is right, none of the characters have to be heroic, they just have to be trying to be heroes for the PEOPLE, like All Might was and is, all might risked anything and everything to protect the people, but heroes who are simply seeking money will not risk their lives to save other lives, Stein is in fact in the right. His only problem is that he judges people too quickly, but then again he wasn’t inaccurate at all in the anime, ida wanted revenge, and his brother focused on money, Shoto only wants to become number one to spite his dad, Stein only acknowledged Midoriya, who because of his fetish with All Might literally wants to be all might and became all might gaining both his quirk and obsession with saving lives, Midoriya and All Mivht were the only true heroes at that point of time.

There’s a reason he doesn’t talk much but he’ll be interacting a bit more, but so far the Mc hasn’t been shown much, he will be from now on
