one of the best web novels I've read. Great character development. great writing. great structure. I hope this story continues for a long time. Emily Dinova is a promising young author!

Really interesting bit about how Findors never return to a place. I feel like this will become an important metaphor in the piece. The talking to himself, the drinking, the self-doubt and criticism - it's clear: Zane's in love.

Loving the onomatopoeia - the SLAMs of the wheel were nicely placed and executed. Very cool. The metaphor of the bars, whether real or invisible - really great stuff here.

What an interesting turn this took! Another obstacle for what I assume will be the love story of Zane and Sera. Curious what Lonny's deal is and where he comes from and what made him who he is! Back to reading...

Firstly, I hope everyone is appreciating the awesome irony that Zane is a water dwelling monster and he opened up a diner named Fish n Chips. Genius. Secondly, this Lonny character at the end - I smell a love triangle on our hands!

This may very end up being my favorite line of the entire piece.

What an interesting dynamic between these characters. I have a feeling this piece will be one those that take a well-worn genre and breathes fresh air into it. There's really some great writing going on here.

Sera has moxie! She's curious and she doesn't back down - even when she backs herself into a corner. Strong character!

Taking a step back from chapter 1, this is a really nice and calm introduction into the world and the character of Sera. She is an intriguing one! Already wondering where she fits into all of this. The author does a really good job slowing down the pace but only for a moment because that chapter ending...

Wow! What an opening chapter! Hooked me right in!!
