Great that Lucian and Ruelle were 'reunited' at the seamstress after so many days apart. They missed each other greatly. Lucian must have suspected something regarding Harold. I think he told Ruelle to have Harold at Brackenwell in order to prove his suspicion of him.

I thought Lucian would appear at the Soiree in order to spend some time with Ruelle. If he did, Ruelle could share what she had overheard with him.

Seems like Minister Sylvan is in cahoots with Ruelle's father. They have their own agenda since they want to trigger Lucian's corruption in order to achieve their goal. Ruelle is right to stay vigilant against her father as he's exhibiting unusual behavior.

I can feel Ruelle could not bear to leave Lucian. It would be wishful thinking that nothing will happen during the one week. I bet there would be many happenings. However, I have faith in Lucian. He always has a solution and will protect Ruelle.
