In Chapter 89, I commented on my theory about life energy, but now I feel like an idiot since the MC can confirm or disprove it by simply forcing or observing a quirkless human killing a bug and seeing if the life force goes to the human or returns to the Earth. Oh, and I think Junsei has gone into hibernation again to evolve or return to his original form. Some people seemed to forget that the reason he went to Tartarus was to fill the hole he has mentioned in almost every chapter recently.
Huh, I knew it was gonna be a plot point, but I was expecting it to be a trump card scenario where they activate it at a critical moment while he was fighting, and when it didn't work there would be a speech about what he is and what life is, etc. But I guess it makes sense; the school prioritizes the safety of the kids over victory, even if it's a logically better result if sacrificing a couple of kids helps them take down a threat greater than AFO. But again, they are the next generation, what a dilemma. Then again, it won't work either way, so it's a moot point.
Ok, so we know humans steal life by existing, by killing for food or anything, even the bugs or the grass they squish without knowing feed the life to them, and after a while, exes' lives lead to the emergence of quirks. Since the quirks started appearing at the same time all over the world, I'm thinking the life that humans steal are stored in a shared dimension that got full, so it bleeds back to humans, causing the quirks to appear. It could be the explanation for why training increases life; they make the vessel (body) more powerful so it can contain more life (that passive bleeds to them from the dimension they share), so technically, even if the quirks get taken from all humanity, they will appear again since humans are like sponges and quirks are just a symptom, not the disease. Note: Maybe it's like Otsutsuki kind of scenario. Humans are the god tree that absorbs the life of the planet, and then the god will harvest it, but for some reason didn't, and now the tank is full, so it started to flow back to humans, causing them to mutate/evolve by using the blueprint/desire in the mind of humans. Since I refuse to think it just made the Tenya Ida's family quirks by luck, it's a functioning engine for life's sake.
I hope Nezu won't forget what All For One said about it not being a quirk, and that humans can't fight against the world. You can say he sounds delusional, but he said this after trying to steal the quirk of the main character. He was calm when he looked at All Might talking about regrets, which looks more like bitter acceptance. It could be an interesting subplot where characters will theorize about him until the big reveal. Oh, by the way, like everybody else, I too think biological warfare is da wae! Side note: I think Nezu is in denial because, after experiencing everything, he finally let go of his hatred toward humans and even tried to guide them toward a better path. He doesn't want to think his whole life was pointless.
I want to write about how amazing this was and praise it to the moon, but others already did, and I don't think I need to repeat it. So, I can only say this chapter, in its simplest form, was pure satisfaction/gratification.
