“He is a bit lazy and a bit greedy but he loves stories most of all.”
This chuuni tunes in when the channel becomes x-rated, of course.
And four more disasters waiting around the corner to save people from. Oh no…
10/10 Five Stars Do Not Recommend. Not fun for families, children, couples, singles or humans.
What is meant is that Pildu wants his family back instead of all the land in the world.
Rereading and it makes so much more sense.
Rereading this and the parallels are chilling.
With these words you set the seeds for your death.
“Man makes plans and God laughs.”

In another of my favorite novels on here “Master of the Loop” a regressor has regressed so many millions of times, just to learn the best route of his individual loop to gain information ahead, that he didn’t realize that it was costing him his actual humanity, and ability to feel. He didn’t understand it until he realized that he had completely forgotten his wife and child’s names and faces and then later realized that he doesn’t care any longer. Then he relearns fear as he begins to wonder what he’s being shaped into by whatever gave him the regession ability.
Rereading and I choked on the goddamn joint I'm smoking at this. OFC
