I understand what you're saying, but it's just like getting attached to a game, toy, or anything like that. It's something dear to you, and if it's taken away, or destroyed, you'll naturally feel sad, disappointed, etc.

I get where you're coming from, but this won't be exactly Alex Mercer, or the settings, powers etc. from prototype. He has a different background and different circumstances. There will be a point in the story where he'll finally become this overpowered force. For now, he has no experience from others, since he never took anyone's memories, and that's because he doesn't even know he can do that. As for being a good person while still being fully powered up, that's true, but different from the prototype game, here he can't actually control his powers, so he uses those to keep him weakened and not get out of control. Your critics are valid, considering you were expecting something much more different from this story, but i simply want to take an alternate route while using elements from both franchises. If you want to stick around and see where the story is gonna go, and then make an opinion, that's fine. If you decide to not read it anymore, that's also fine, I'm not forcing anybody to read it. It's simply something that came up in my mind, and decided to make it into a story, thinking that other people may also be interested in it.

He doesn't know, since he died way before the Blacklight virus was created, but he does have a good idea of what it is about, which should be explained in the near future.

I don't really know how to integrate them into the fights, and he didn't really have a need to use them. But in the more recent chapters i began to utilize them a little, and I'll try to integrate the four arms more in fights
