well if he was going to gamble why not make him forfeit the throne war too. this would be more equal and certain in case someone of the 75 percent dies.

I also think like that. Right now, the reason he can not use the death sympaty during combat is it requires for him to know his opponents natural frequencies. If he can somehow measure them out during combat which is not that unprobable, he can kill groups of senior level left and right like they are normal people.

Thank you for you review. As you can see in first three chapters, we see the background of modern world and consequently our MC. These three chapter will draw the boundries of the power of our MC. I will mostly stick to these boundries.For example, our MC is a scientist specilizes on ai and implant chips. On other areas he will at most be above average. I will not make him beat a martial Master just because he happened to master modern boxing at some time in his original world. Actually this is one of the things I don't like the most. An author should not add random capabilities to the MC just for the story's sake. However, your suggestion does not require me to break the background of the MC. I can add flashbacks so that we can learn about him in a more subtle way. I will try.
