I think the author forgot that Oliver basically confirmed that William is the prince of darkness back in around chapters 50-60 and when he was help est with the trial as well as when he purified the two dungeon cores

WHO said the power made him average nobody said it was 50-50 it can be like 99% luck and 1%jinx for him
