Oh this is just my thought .. i think the 11th door was different from what ruan nanzhu and Lin quishi went through and there was a 12th experience. But since the 12th door ghost (NPC) decided to get a PhD in love, the 11th had to be upgraded. So if you survive the 11th door, the 12th door becomes the choice you make.
Lin Qiushi was curious why that was, and Ruan Nanzhu, gaming beside him with a controller in hand, kept his eyes fixed on the TV as he calmly said, "the twelfth door doesn't exist anymore, so it doesn't matter whether or not we fade."
