Awwwww, I really thought there’d be a backstory arc here, where we’d see how dez and raya and Rory and luci did actually have past lives in the historic times and how there’d be wolves or magic and a tragic ending and sacrifices and hence the blessing of this life & the “one more chance” to a happily ever after life
