Yea... I am very aware that it is a pretty big stretch, especially considering how much the US spends on its military bases worldwide, but the story wouldn't be able to happen otherwise; sorry if it's a little too unrealistic.

Thanks for pointing that out; I did a little more research, and from my current understanding (and feel free to correct me if I am wrong). While Egypt indeed supported the Arabs in the Israeli wars. Currently, their relationship has been improving and seems to be following that trend. As for Egypt and Saudi Arabia, they are considered allies. However, I also found out that although they are both allies of Egypt, they would probably stay neutral and not intervene, or at least only guarantee Egypt to join in if land is taken from them.
