    bros posted up

Robotic in movement, I slowly turned toward the direction I'd heard the voice. Sitting behind me was a figure seemingly unaffected by the darkness, his eye locked directly onto me. He shouldn't be able to see me, perhaps this is all part of his dream. With cautious steps I backpedaled away from the motionless figure, only to discover the distance between us remained unchanged. (IMAGE)

Lol I think scars are cool, but also I wanted him to have a permanent injury he wouldn’t forget.

    Bane

A sickening crunch resounded as my fist connected with the chained-up bird before me. I was growing tired of his silence, his false ignorance, his lies! While holding back just enough not to kill the baby bird I discovered that this method of bludgeoning was going nowhere. As a result, I opted for the next course of action. Grabbing a finger, I simply began to squeeze. Toying with it my grip grew increasingly harder, eventually resulting in a violent snap. A shrill scream replaced his once muffled grunts of pain.

Reference for his scar itself and the other eye which is to be covered unless he's using its ability. Pretty sure I explain why in a few paragraphs.

Turning around I saw a familiar figure, my reflection, though what it reflected was certainly an unfamiliar sight. On the left side of my face was a scar leading through my eye and down my chin. The eye itself could hardly be called one at this point, considering it was missing some of the key components, like an iris or pupil. In its place was a blank white unblemished sclera. Raising a hand, I found that I could still see through it, though it was like looking through a keyhole. The rest of my body was covered in multiple holes and gashes that appeared to have completed most of the healing process. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they left scars as well.

June...Moon, while the name sounded familiar, I wasn't entirely sure who the hell she was. Long blonde hair and blue eyes weren't necessarily much to go on. What intrigued me about her was that although she showed fear of me, it wasn't the same terror and disgust the others felt. Johnny appeared more interested in dissecting me, Juniper was absolutely horrified of me for some reason, but this June Moon while scared...had been closely examining me as though I was a work of art. No sooner had her words left her mouth did all other sounds in the surrounding die out. The sounds of the forest seemed to vanish, as did the howling wind. The beast that had just finished swallowing an agent, stopped mid-meal, turning its attention toward us. No, behind us. Its tiny feet began to shuffle as it backpedaled slowly. The entire time its gaze was fixated on something behind us, one by one we turned around following its line of sight.

    💀

Seasons change, time passes and yet somehow, I remain stagnant. Forever chasing after what once was, drowning in my inability to accept my life for what it is. Even worse, I lack the conviction to change and better myself. A pitiful cycle repeats once again of acknowledgment of my shortcomings and the path forward to fix them. Followed by a deep sense of inferiority and incapability which ultimately brings me back to square one.

The being didn't even put us in his eyes, literally. Its full attention and those of its serpents were entirely on the Quetzalcoatl. Despite that, merely being within his line of sight left the collection of us weak in the knees. One by one we fell unable to handle the pressure...the terror. Gasps for breath soon escaped a few lips, and those who seemed to be weaker or unable to resist directly passed out, pretty soon it was only me, Juniper, Johnny, and a handful of other agents. Unable to do anything I could only follow the unique being with my eyes as he walked past me and straight toward the colossal beast.

    reference

A few minutes later I could be seen leading her through the forest with a barrel capable of holding 500 gallons of water. How the fuck they just had this in their aircraft was beyond me, much less how they planned to get it into the field or refilled if they hadn't met me was just as big a mystery. Pretty soon we'd arrived at easily one of the most beautiful places I'd laid my eyes on. A waterfall like none other flowed into a dark blue lake, with utterly still waters. The gentle flow of water seemed to tickle you in all the right places, as you lost yourself in the white noise.

    reference

Springing back toward the tree line to get my bearings I found a trio of scaled and hissing overgrown water lizards. Jaws opened to their full extent in a threatening display, they seemed to hesitate leaving the comfort of their domain. June had almost died. I had almost let her die. How long had it been since I sincerely cared about another's well-being, much less put their life above mine? The realization hit me like a truck, I had begun to care for someone...and almost let them die.

    reference

An ashy white body, with beady red eyes, spike-like appendages cascading down its body, and hundreds of teeth, each larger than a forearm. It seemed to appear from thin air, its head peaking from out the tree line. Upon its arrival, the Ankylosaur frantically attempted and failed to take to its feet and flee.
