the Magi wanted the beautiful and heroic elven knight who would choose a master willingly. the MC wanted the powerful and experience Harold of the Dead. what I'm guessing in this universe when it comes to summoning you have to be extremely Pacific on what you want, otherwise you will fail to summon it or/and you may get whatever falls within that definition.

I in a way agree with you on that one, but there is one problem. didn't the MC and the Magi have to study the entire history and personality of the entity they wanted to summon? how would he know who they were let alone how they were to summon them?
