I read alot, and I despise harems, like a lot. I also write long reviews, don't trust everything i say though as it's mostly opinion. I really wanna try writing sometime soon, but not sure when.

I mean, it's my opinion at the end of the day, just whatever I was thinking at the time so calling my review absurd isn't entirely untrue. 👍
• Star Ratings and Summary are at the bottom if you don't want to read me rambling about every little detail.[As of my review there are 15 Chapters].•Okay, to start things off, the writing quality of the story is decent. I'd say it's above average to a decent degree but there are certainly some problems you'll occasionally come across. Spelling mistakes are uncommon but they are certainly present throughout the story and there are other issues that sometimes pop up. Generally though, no real complaints about the writing quality of the story, just needs basic improvements. From there we delve into the story development, which for me is the worst part of this story. Originally the story started off strong with a great premise and start with a good story line that seemed to have a way for the MC go participate in the plot while retaining a degree of independence from the original main cast. However this all changes after the author straight up decides to kill off Subaru and just do whatever they want with the story. I won't say that this is a bad idea, as it could certainly lead to a more interesting development of the story, however it seems that the author has some sort of vendetta against Subaru for some reason. It seems to somehow seep into the writing of the story with him talking about how relieved he us that Subaru is dead and how he doesn't even care at all about it. Anyways, the Character Design is another rocky area for me. At the start all the characters were how I was thinking then to be, and generally they felt good as their own characters, but randomly the characters seemed to undergo this weird shift in personality when the author killed off Subaru. Reinhard isn't the type of person to just casually shrug off a person's death and tell someone who was clearly close to them about it, nor is Emillia the type of person to go from clearly traumatized by nearly losing their life to offering someone a place to stay at within 3 sentences. The progression of their personalities is incredibly jarring and oddly out of place. The MC himself is a whole basket of insecurity, arrogance, and inferiority, which realistically wouldn't be a problem if it was intentional. However it doesn't seem to be intentional by the author. The MC is so grateful that Subaru is dead simply because he now thinks of himself as "the protagonist" and he also goes from calling Emillia a helpess, useless, frail, ignorant woman to an angel within a couple of chapters. The updating stability isn't an area of concern so far, but only time will tell how consistent the author will be with updates, and finally the world background is another place that is around base standard. Re Zero has a LOT of world building and world background that the author simply hasn't bothered to explain, understandably so, but still not tapping into it yet has made for the story to be a pretty tight and close knitted world so far. .•General ReviewWriting Quality is somewhat decent, spelling mistakes aren't quite common but they do certainly happen more than they likely should, simply needs some improvement. Story Development is weird with how the author seems to have changed the direction of the plot halfway through, but it could potentially lead somewhere interesting? Not looking too likely as of currently though. Character Design is by far the weakest category of this book. All the characters feel weird and have a number of problems with them. The MC is arrogant and yet somehow insecure and has an inferiority complex. Characters act wildly different from how they standardly would which makes reading a bit weird. Updating Stability isn't anything to write home about, only time will tell how good it is. World Background is a well of untapped potential for the story that could really make it interesting. .•Star Ratings•Writing Quality 3.3/5•Story Development 1.7/5•Character Design 0.7/5•Updating Stability 3.5/5•World Background 3.2/5•Total Star Rating 2.2/5•Final Thoughts•This story has a lot of potential I feel, but the execution has really not been great so far. I'd personally recommend a rewrite and maybe a little more thought into the progression of the plot and the depth and personalities of some characters. In it's current state I'd likely only recommend it to someone who truly has very little to read and wants something that is just good enough to not suffer while reading.
Oh boy oh gee, another book for me to sink my teeth into, and finally for me to perhaps get back on the review grind I've been putting off for a while now. All my star reviews and general thoughts will be at the bottom while my in depth thoughts and explanations will be dumped right below here so drop to the bottom if you're impatient.[As of my review there are 7 chapters.]Okay, so to start off with the Writing Quality is the same as all other novels produced by this author, great. There isn't a whole lot to talk about regarding the quality, its certainly far above average and is commendable, but it can feel ever so slightly over the top at certain points. Moving on to the Story Development as it's so early on in the novels progression it'd hard for me to properly grasp how the character will develop, but if it's like the authors previous works I'm confident the development will be good and well paced. The Character Design is another category which is difficult to properly grade currently, but again, the author had a good track record with character design so I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt. Updating Stability is where things take an ominous turn, with the author having a less than perfect record when it comes to maintaining their novels updates. I understand the difficulty in writing and updating consistently, but it doesn't change the fact that this is indeed a concern of some amount. World Background is where this book truly shines though, with a unique ranking system I've never seen before in a pokemon novel that makes much more sense for power scaling, and a descriptive build onto the universe that the story itself unfolds in. Truly the shining element of this novel.General SummaryWriting Quality is great as always, and will hopefully remain that way. Story Development is inconclusive because I'm writing this review so early onto the novels life, but will likely turn out fine. Character Design falls under the same grade as Story Development, inconclusive but hopeful. Updating Stability is a concern, bur hopefully the author can remain consistent in the future as I have high hopes for this novel. World Background is the shining element of this novel, and truly makes for an enjoyable read.Star RatingsWriting Quality - 4.8/5Story Development - 3.5/5Character Design - 3.5/5Updating Stability - 3/5World Background - 4.9/5Total Star Review - 4.3/5Final ThoughtsI've enjoyed this authors work in the past and have been disappointed each time a novel was dropped off, so I have really high hopes for this new one. I'm hoping it will have the potential to be this authors best work yet and will hopefully bring me many chapters of enjoyment in the future.
Okay then, a new story for me to give my opinion on, I'll do the best I can. As usual my summary and star ratings are at the bottom if you don't wanna read through my ramblings. [As of my review there are 9 chapters] Alright let's kick things off with the writing quality. Overall, not too bad I'd say, generally speaking it isn't super lacking which is nice, but could obviously use some improvements here and there. No obvious spelling mistakes and the flow is decent enough that it doesn't feel too hard to read. I'd say it's generally above average in most respects, but the bar I have set for webnovel is quite low. Story Development is where things start to crumble a bit, the premise itself is fine but the progression of things feels a bit...off. The way that the author explains some things is just absolutely ridiculous, saying things like "Because his quirk is named copy, he'll eventually be able to permanently copy quirks!" There are leaps in logic that make little to no sense in general and make the entire story feel goofy at times. Also, the whole online IQ test that's made by Nezu also makes little to no sense, somehow I seriously doubt that he would do that in the actual series. The plot feels forced at times, like the author made bullet points of events he imagined for the story, but had little to no clue how to make the story get to those points. Character design is also another point that this novel struggles on. Interactions between the main character and literally anyone feel SO weird. It's like the author wanted to make the MC fully grown, but just forgot that the setting had him be a child. The parents act super weird around him, they swear around him, let him do weird things, and then constantly call him a baby. It feels like the author doesn't know how people actually act around children, so he just started winging it and then constantly keeps reminding the reader that the MC is a kid. Overall it just isn't very enjoyable. Updating Stability is good enough, I don't check this novel daily but I think it uploads decently frequently. World background is another thing that feels weak. The author doesn't explain much, anyone who hasn't read alot of MHA would feel a bit confused at times, mentioning characters and not explaining who or what they are at all, generally not expanding beyond what he set up in the first couple chapters. Again, not super enjoyable. Overall, this is a super weak area as well. Okay onto my general review. Summary Okay, writing quality is good, not super good, but not bad, if you aren't someone who cares a ton about the minor intricacies of sentences, it's good enough to read. Story Development isn't good, it's weird and feels forced at times, with plot devices and character development happening at weird and random intervals with little to no build up or explanation. Character Design is bad, plain and simple. The way other characters interact with the MC is weird as hell, and makes for a super awkward mood no matter what. It feels like the author wanted to make the MC a child, had absolutely no clue how people act around children, and chose to just wing it. People act like he's an adult, and yet constantly also remind him he's a baby, it's like the author is constantly trying to reassure us he's still a kid. Updating Stability is fine, nothing bad there. World background is pretty much untouched, the author hasn't done anything to try and expand the world or even explain it at all. Not very enjoyable. Star Ratings Writing Quality - 2.8/5 Story Development - 1.7/5 Character Design - 0.7/5 Updating Stability - 3.5/5 World Background - 1.4/5 Total Star Rating - 1.9/5 Final Thoughts Alright, I'm quite disappointed to be honest here, the premise of this story if great but the execution is so sub par it's amazing. In it's current state I'd probably not recommend someone to read it, unless you seriously just want to turn off your brain COMPLETELY and just read a goofy story that has very loose logic. Still though, not too terrible of a rough draft I'd say. This story could really benefit from some improvements and rewriting, and perhaps a shift of the setting. I'd say the author has a pretty decent chunk of potential for writing that just needs some ironing out with time. Hope my review has helped in some way, and I hope that you enjoyed reading all this, as writing these long reviews is a bit exhausting.
Alright I'm gonna be giving this one a review since there's so few. As always, my summary and star ratings are at the bottom. [As of my review there are 19 chapters.] Okay let's begin. To start off with, we're gonna go over the writing quality of this story, unfortunately there isn't much for me to say about this as it's nothing unique. The writing quality is good, and I can't really recognize any spelling mistakes but at the same time there isn't anything special about it, it's just about as good as it needs to be, and nothing else. Story Development is where things take a turn for the worse, as it's literally just normal MHA. The story progresses EXACTLY how normal MHA does, it's literally just the same story with very VERY minor changes at some parts, but in general things are following the exact same story. It feels like if you were just reading the original MHA story but with the author sitting next to you constantly talking about his opinion on what's happening. In general, not good. Character Design falls to the exact same problem, it's literally just the original characters, no new development, no new story, not even any changes made. Again, it just feels like someone giving their opinion on the original story. Updating Stability is fine, once per day but the actual chapter size is abysmal, you can read through each chapter in under 2 mins if you have atleast the reading comprehension of a 5th grader. World background again isn't super great, it's STILL JUST MHA. Nothing new! Still just copy. and. paste. It's seriously disappointing at this point and there's no actual changes or developments! General Review - Alright my general review is as follows: Writing Quality is decent, not super great, not super terrible, just barely decent and really not anything outstanding. Story Development is bad, the way the story progresses and the changes that happen are nothing, its just normal MHA with barely any changes to the story. Character Design is also nothing, and it's literally just the original MHA characters that the author doesn't change at all. Updating Stability is barely up to par, but still somehow feels lacking because the actual chapter size is just so small, you could read through a chapter in no time at all. World Background is STILL just MHA! It feels like the author had absolutely NO ideas about what to do other than JUST the power idea. Generally disappointing. Star Reviews - Writing Quality - 3.5/5 Story Development - 0.5/5 Character Design - 0.5/5 Updating Stability - 3.5/5 World Background - 0.5/5 Total Star Rating - 1.9/5 My final thoughts on this book is just general disappointment and a lack of interest. This book suffers severely from a lack of creativity on the Authors part, and a unwillingness to divert the story AT ALL. Which is sad because I like the power the character has, and the writing quality is above average, which is rare. I am certain that the author could do much better, it's likely just a matter of inexperience. However, in this book's current state I do not recommend it unless you like the original MHA plot line alot and don't mind essentially reading It again. I wish you luck in the future author and hope you only see improvement.
isn't it usually cold water?
🙏
Okay, I've taken a break for a but but I gotta get into doing these reviews again. My summary and star ratings are at the bottom if you just want the basic review and not the wall of text I'm about to spit out. [As of my review there are 37 chapters] Alright so first of all let me start by saying that this is the first time I'm reading something by this author, and unfortunately I'm actually quite disappointed. Writing Quality is okay, I'd say it's definitely above average compared to most things on this site, Solid grammar and good vocabulary. Only real problem I could have with the writing quality itself is that the characters talk like wooden planks, none of them have real depth to their characters and nuances that you notice over time, just base characters and nothing more. Overall though, not terrible, definitely not as terrible as what is to come. Story Development is another one that I don't have much to say about. I can't say it's particularly bad in any one way since it's just above average in general, but I'd say the pacing isnt good. The author focuses so much on the MC talking to other people that it consumes upwards of 70% of some of the chapters. I love when authors expand the conversations that characters have, but I dont like it when they're needlessly drawn out and consume space that could be used to actually progress the story in a significant way. And also the MC keeps walking in weird circles when it comes to his own development, he keeps going back and forth with the girls that he has a weird relationship with, and makes some progress. backtracks, makes some more progress, backtracks again, and so on. Generally though, not too terrible of story progression. Character Design. oh boy oh boy this is where my vendetta against this story begins. Character design is just simply not good, it's as simple as that. Every character feels flat and one Dimensional, like the author made a personality sheet for each character that was limited to 50 words each and that's all they get. Everyone in the story seems so simple too, MC is a slightly mature and respectful kind dude and suddenly 18 girls are at his feet constantly, it's wild. The MC himself isn't any better either, his personality is pretty much relegated to: "I like sex, I like girls, I like strong, I like money." and that's about it. every single chapter has him talking about how horny he is and how hot the girls are and it's so annoying. The author also constantly is simping for Toru, always talking about her and how hot she is and how much the MC wants to fuck her and it's just gotten old honestly. Overall, I hate it. Updating Stability is good. that's all, updated very frequently which is nice. World Background is just about average, I wouldn't call it good but it isn't exactly bad either. It's just around barely good enough to seem reasonable for the story. I don't have a whole lot more to say about that. Alright now to get to my summary. General Summary I feel like this book could have been something quite interesting, but a couple of bad decisions in my opinion have let this fall off and into a bit of a pitfall. Writing Quality is okay, nothing special, but good grammar and solid vocabulary. Story Development is slow and kinda circles at times, making it seem like very little development happens, with so much talking that it's kinda crazy. character design is very bad, all the characters seem really badly made and like they're designed with only one idea in the authors mind at the time of writing them out. Updating Stability is solid, frequent updates but I have no idea about how the future will be. World Background isn't super good, just barely good enough to make the story work but in general it's not super great. Star Rating Writing Quality - 2.6/5 Story Development - 2.1/5 Character Design - 0.4/5 Updating Stability - 5/5 World Background - 2.4/5 Overall Rating - 2.0/5 My final thoughts on this Book. I think it could be really great, but it isn't. This seriously disappoints me as the concept of the system power is an idea I really enjoyed. I still think it could be good if the focus was properly set and the story was ironed out and the pacing was fixed. But in general, at this current time I'd only recommend this story if you really had nothing else to read and were very bored. I hope that the author enjoys writing and continues to publish new stories! I believe everyone can be good if they try and that improvement comes with time and that reviews like mine can help authors develop more!
guess who predicted this? that's right, ME!!! Can't say I didn't say it coming, nor can I say I'm mad at the author. just sad that such a good one is pretty much gone :( Most novels that go on hiatus never come back.
