i thought neto was trying to make the goblin attack him, so he could finish the fight soon. In this case 'taunted' works.

Like the story so far, hope it continues... Too many authors give up right when things get interesting. The first chapter had me a bit worried the book would be 100% action but the next two chapters flush out the characters and environment quite well.
