less xp is fair, but against a horde of low lvl's it would be an easy kickstart for the crew, plus I doubt they have many bullets.

what's the state of her consciousness between hosts? is she conscious floating in the void until her scroll is drawn, is there a room inside the scroll with no windows, or has she seen the core of the item flow ala "Log horizon"?

have a standard set of base stats and a tertiary multiplier stat that increases with tier, class rarity, and feats. The multiplier is hidden deeper than the stats. everyone has it, but can't see it without overlapping appraisal skills/ spells. In a system where you choose when to apply your xp would probably be where it shines.

why not form a firing line with the guns taken from the mob? especially since there's a bunch of low-level scrubs that need the XP...

I was starting to think they were a "your base attribute multiplier" rather than allocatable stats. The former would actually be a neat take for a nonstandard power system, though it would get silly quickly.

Why would he simply store any skills that he can learn? Is there a set number of skill slots that hasn't been mentioned yet, or does he need to make sure not to create an "imbalance of energy" within himself to not get killed by his own mana?

between lvl 175-200 then?
