Yo so here are some ideas for the SI MC in RWBY with a Hanma bloodline: If he’s all about fist-fighting like a true Hanma—no weapons—then just make his Semblance like Haki. In Remnant terms, it’s just him using his willpower to do crazy stuff, like the three Haki types we know, You could go with a Garp-style build if you take this route. If you wanna give him a weapon here’s my personal take- if you’ve watched Soul Land, you know about Martial Souls right? Just give him one that runs on Aura so it passes off as his Semblance ,no soul rings BS. Could be a tool-type like Clear Sky Hammer, or go wild with a beast-type Martial Soul Oni , that’d be sick. [I’ve always wanted to see an SI MC in RWBY that uses the "Myriad Manifestation Umbrella" as his weapon from "King’s Avatar" and actually do it justice , just mentioning that out here 😏] ---------------- here three more Semblance ideas: Semblance: Oni’s Resurgence (Resurrection via Fighting Spirit) Concept: If his will doesn’t break, his body won’t die. Abilities: Death Defiance: If he takes a fatal hit, his Aura forcibly heals him—but only if he refuses to die. Second Wind: The more he’s injured, the stronger his final attacks become. Revenant Mode: If he gets knocked out, his body fights on instinct alone like a rabid beast. Semblance: Oni Manifestation (Like Susanoo but with a Demon instead of a Skeleton) Concept: His Aura forms a gigantic Oni avatar around him, boosting his physical power like a walking calamity. Semblance: Demon’s Wake (Can Be Used as a Domain) Concept: When he fights seriously, people don’t just see him—they see the demon inside him. Abilities: Fear Manifestation: Enemies hallucinate a monstrous version of him attacking them. Mind Overwhelm: The weaker their will, the more real the hallucination feels. Energy Drain: Can absorb energy from everyone or select targets in his Domain, refilling his stamina, aura etc and healing himself. Life Transfer: Can drain energy from enemies (Grimm, humans, etc.) and heal allies with it.
