“I’m a proud born Hoenn citizen!!!” At least that’s what I would say if I was truly from the Pokémon world. Gen 3 was my first start to Pokémon and I’ve loved it ever since. The next region I would live in is definitely Aloha or Sinnoh.
That made much more sense and I saw nothing wrong with that. The people got to benefit from this, so M&M PokeBlocks receiving government support in return was justified. I was sure any aspiring breeder and/or Coordinator was thankful for that. Speaking of coordinators, as part of the home of contests, Lilycove City naturally had a Contest Hall as well, and what a contest hall it was. It was a temporary condition that would go away once Baltoy's temporal "signal" so to say had adjusted to the frequency of the present. Still, the dissonance along with the mental exhaustion were the reason why Baltoy was still unconscious even though its physical health had been restored. Shellder seemed surprised by the lack of any attack or other catastrophe that would/could stop its evolution, but put that aside and nodded expectantly. I placed the Water Crystal on top of Shellder's shell before swiftly taking a step back as Shellder erupted in a bright light.

There was no room for doubt, not when I could see him sporting a new color. Obviously, I was not the only one to notice the change, and there was quite some excitement going around. Still, the color change was not what one would expect from the shiny gene since Po was not brown, but black like a real panda, unlike his previous dark grey. Whatever he had unlocked, it was not the shiny gene, at least not the regular one. After the second training session, I put on an earth doll battle performance for everyone, before we proceeded to simply hang out and talk until dinner. Regardless, I gave them their signatures before quickly teleporting away. I eventually made it to Viridian City, from where I entered Utopia. The next morning, right after I left Utopia, my phone rang and I saw my new assignment. Actually, I was confident that most of my close friends would react like that, which was something I'd rather avoid since I was afraid that they might get hurt or worse if it came down to it. The reason I was interested in him like this was some myths that I remembered, which made me want to see if there was some truth to those and if I could make use of them if that was the case. Apparently, the little boy's playmate went missing while they were playing hide-and-seek, the playmate being a young little Sentret.
