I’m not sure. I like to think of the MC as a case study of what would happen if a person from the real world knows future events in detail. Would he prevent it or let it happen. You must also realize that the MC isn’t like Bruce Wayne who has a strong moral code of not killing. He’s a teenager who’s seen the worst in people and was given powers to exact revenge and so isn’t really keen on playing saint and forgiving thugs, gangsters, and supervillains. Despite how convoluted this is, I’m making him lean towards the dark side while still trying to be good. He’s not going to hesitate to absolutely ruin other people. As the meme about Batman says, “I’m not going to kill you, but your hospital bills will.”
