Pre-52 Jason wasn’t really in any relationships. Only more recent in more recent years like his romance with Artemis kind of showed how he is romantically. Along with the comics going over his and essence relationship. I belive its during his red hood and outlaws run, whichever one.

Well neither of his life’s made it past the teens. As for the cocky attitude, I just wrote is as him trying to get under peoples skin because he was bored.
