speeding up Qi-degradation is possible, but its way too wasteful, time consuming, and honestly a lot of headache.

The 'storage' is the problem. Everything has a natural amount of Qi it can store, which it almost already does. Any more and it would diffuse far quicker than someone could cultivate with it. Alex would be wasting if he tried to do that. The World Tree doesn't store anything nor is it a source. It's a Converter that converts every other form of Qi, which ends up mostly being Light, and turns it into element-less Qi instantly.

I lost like 80%, but I regret nothing. Everyone who kept reading has ended up praising this decision, so I'm happy that I did this. I'm sure if I hadn't done this, the book would've died long ago from mediocrity.
