Nah, this arc was good. He established a new, very original power system, albeit very OP at times, and is showing us worlds where instead of multiple constellations vying for power, how a single constellation can go about building faith on a planet. We saw domination at the last planet and here we see deification. Ning had a good reason for taking his time and we got to go on the journey with him. The only feedback that I'd give is I didn't feel as invested into jasmine, Tim etc as I felt in the "continental sword" arc, but that's because this was a journey for energy rather than a journey for entertainment. TY for the regular chapters!
