I'll say up until now, your character lacks emotional depth, when he diéd in his 1st life you wrote it as if he passed away peacefully instead of yk a horrific deãth as he literally got suffocated, crushed and burnt to déath. Additionally he doesn't seem to value the atrocities his body has gone through acting as if he is a simple spectator. You say you don't want him to be an edgelord but in doing so you've already kílled his emotions, which is the biggest complaint about edgelords.
