I awoke with a fright. The event that just transpired finally hitting me now that the ROB's forced calm state has subsided.The fact that i met a god, got reborn into a world that was a tv show and that I'm now a literal supernatural creature, or at least i will be tomorrow. It's the 5th of December and my 16th birthday is tomorrow and when my power will awaken. I will have one month until the start of season one. I know there's a vengeful Alpha and that Scott McCall is bitten but that's about it, i guess this is what the ROB meant. I remember my sixteen years of life here and all in all its not too bad. I'm still a loner but i get along with most people so no-one gives me trouble. I'm middle class thanks to my guardian whose name is Vincent or Vince as i call him who although he is legally my adoptive father on paper, he's always treated me like a little brother and doesn't want me to call him dad as doesn't see himself as one. Which is perfect for me as id feel uncomfortable ever calling anyone dad as i never had one in either life. We aren't originally from Beacon hills but we moved here from Canada 6 years ago when Vince got a house here due to the will of his father after he passed away. The circumstances of me meeting Vince though is very cliche even for a tv show. Vince was twenty four at the time and ran a very successful auto shop when I stumbled into his shop at the age of 4 just before sirens went off announcing that a severe snow storm was forming and warning everyone to stay inside. The storm lasted 6 days and almost wiped out the town and would've if it had continued. So Vince looked after me for 6 days while the blizzard raged and I practically attached myself to him and him to me. You see a few months before this Vince lost his older brother and spiralled as his brother was his only family(He doesn't count his father as when he was younger his dad was an alcoholic and made his life hell until he turned 18 and he and his brother ran away.) He felt lost and alone and threw himself into work. Caring for me for those six days and comforting me when I was scared by telling stories felt like it gave him purpose. Of course once the storm was over he called the police and told them the situation and they arrived shortly after and took me to the station and checked my history to find my parents when it revealed that i had none on record. They then believed that i was a victim of crime like child slavery or kidnapping, they tried to trace me from before the storm but found nothing.It was like I appeared out of nowhere they said. They have no clue how right they were. Now usually I'd be put into the system however due to the storm all the care homes were full from orphaned children and it would take months to sort out. So they asked Vince if he could look after me until i could be put into care.He agreed and then two months of us bonding later when he was notified that i could be put into care he refused and said he would adopt me as he wanted to be to me what his brother was to him. It was a tough battle as he was fairly young but his excellent reputation as well as his business's success allowed him to win custody of me and we then spent 3 years in Canada before he moved to Beacon hills since he got the house and started his business here where its become very successful. Truth be told I'm happy with this. He treats me like a little brother and never plays what i call,"I'm technically your dad" card which he finds hilarious. He's a good man whose made the best of shitty circumstances and for that he has nothing but my respect. I can accept he's my family, he's my brother no matter what blood says and he says the exact same. That's how we ended up here and now all that's left is to go to sleep as it 10 o'clock and wake up tomorrow as a werewolf.
