The assessment is based on the game world for some reason. There is apparently some vague connection with the real world, but that hasn’t been explained yet.

He knew or at least should have known that he was criticaly injured. There was no prior mention of any medical treatment for the injuries that led to his death, and there was no mention of any punishment for the perpetrator.

Why do so many authors like to give OP abilities and then quickly nerf them? Give the power or don’t. The take back is annoying.

In any remotely civilized society, attempted murder is a serious crime. Both grandson and grandfather attempted murder in front of numerous witnesses.

What is the reason for his hatred? Li Yun’s father once defeated his father in something? That doesn’t explain his obsessive all-consuming hatred to the point where he’s even willing to harm his own foundation.

Not his family. The real Li Yun was about to be cast out of the family before he was killed by family.

It’s a bit unclear, but the red soul is the next level rather than the current upgrade requirement.

It’s a very annoying cliche. MC possesses the corpse of someone who died do to severe neglect and abuse from a terrible family that isn’t his own, but due to “filial piety, he will carry the garbage to the top. Not your family, and they’re garbage.
